Wakelet
Wakelet is a content curation platform that allows users to accumulate pictures, videos, posts, websites, articles, and X/Twitter threads into a single collection. These collections can be used for various purposes, such as creating digital portfolios, sharing research, or collaborating on projects. Anything with a URL and any content you create yourself can be placed on a single collection board. You may also search and explore other public Wakelet collections that have been made. This makes it simple for instructors to create assignments or lesson plans and share them with their students.
Links are automatically embedded into your collection instead of adding hyperlinks. This makes content accessible and simpler for students to access. Context may also be added to each link to give students instructions or summaries. Wakelet is compatible with multiple other software such as OneDrive, Canva, and X/Twitter. After adding your links and media, you may reorganize the way in which your Wakelet is viewed to your liking.
In the past, Wakelet has been used in honors Italian courses by creating a shared Wakelet where students and their instructor may upload helpful resources on transmedia platforms. Wakelet allows for all content to be accessed on one page. Wakelet has also been used by PhD candidates to create collaborative collections on research topics.
