Quizlet is an online learning tool that generates flashcards, tests, and study games to help students study. Users can create their own study sets or find existing ones to enhance their learning. Quizlet is best used for memorizing information. The program pays attention to the answers users get right and wrong to make sure users are practicing the hardest material. Students can make their own study sets to focus on specific material they choose or, can access study sets made by instructors.

Quizlet is compatible with over 100 languages, as well as photos, text, videos, and audio. Instructors can create classes for their students to join to master specific material. Quizlet also uses Artificial Intelligence to provide study coaches or create quizzes on the chosen material. In using Quizlet for language learners, once you set the chosen language, AI will give correct pronunciations to help students with oral comprehension.  

WLLC instructors and TAs have used Quizlet to give “Jeopardy!”-style games to their students on vocabulary words, allowing students of all language sections to access the same study material, and provide generated practice exams for their students. Quizlet is an engaging way to aid students in studying and memorizing information.
