Student in class

World Languages & Digital Humanities Studio

Through events and research initiatives, the WLDH Studio explores the intersection of digital technology and the humanities with special attention to the study of world languages and cultures. We are dedicated to innovative pedagogy and research along with the meaningful integration of digital media and tools in the classroom.

Message from the Director

Our work in digital humanities starts with more than digital tools. In the WLDH Studio, we bring people, methods, and materials into conversation as we ask new questions about language, culture, identity, and the digital worlds we move through every day. The Studio continues to be a space where students and faculty can experiment, collaborate, and build meaningful work together.

Dr. Lincoln Bain IV, WLDH Studio Director
