Padlet

Padlet is an online collaboration tool that functions like an online bulletin board. Allowing users to post their own content while interacting with others to create shared boards. Instructors can use Padlet to create interactive discussion boards. Padlet allows for content creation for collaborative classrooms.

With Padlet, you can have interactive discussions in person and remotely. Padlet also allows for extra security by being able to control student permissions, control privacy settings, and automate content moderation. Students can create text, audio, video, or images on the device of their choice. Teachers can create lesson plans, evaluate students, lead discussions, and organize their classroom all in one tool with Padlet. Padlet is compatible with 45 languages.

In the past, Padlet has been used in language classes to allow students to organize their ideas visually. It has also been used to create assignments and interactive discussion boards where students can respond to one another with text, pictures, and videos. Padlet allows students to design and create their assignments while expressing their own personal style and learning tools. Padlet makes for a more communicative learning environment and aids in following Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Principles.
