Hazeslip Awarded Critical Language Scholarship in June 2021

Spencer Hazeslip, a biochemistry and Spanish double major, has been awarded a Critical Language Scholarship to study critical languages during summer 2021. Hazeslip, who has been studying Spanish for several years, is studying Russian through the CLS Program.

Hazeslip joins three other University of Arkansas students who are also part of the Critical Language Scholarship Program.

Dr. Vennarucci Awarded 2021 Fulbright Master Teacher

Dr. Rhodora Vennarucci, Assistant Professor of Classics in the Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures, was awarded the Fulbright Master Teacher Award in spring 2021.

Dr. Vennarucci is working on collaborative virtual reality projects with Dr. David Frederick, which began with the launch of the Virtual Pompeii Project.
